For Grade 11/12 Students Aiming for Engineering & STEM

Raise your math mark with a smarter path.

Premium 1-on-1 math tutoring and mentorship from a McMaster Engineering student who recently succeeded on the same Ontario high school path — built for Advanced Functions, Calculus, and test confidence.

Engineering dreams are often won or lost in math.

For ambitious students, math often determines which future opportunities stay open. We focus on the strategy needed to turn confusion into confidence and strong marks that help unlock top programs.

1

Marks protect options

Competitive programs do not reward “almost.” When admissions averages are tight, every test, quiz, and unit matters.

2

Pressure changes performance

A student can understand the notes and still lose marks when the question looks unfamiliar or the clock starts moving.

3

Smart students need strategy

Working harder is not always the answer. Sometimes the missing piece is knowing how to approach, decode, and attack new problems.

Success Stories

What Brampton Parents & Students Say

★★★★★

"Before we started, my daughter would get anxious every time she saw a word problem. Now, she actually looks forward to her sessions. The way the material is explained just makes sense to her. It’s been a life-saver for our family."

Amara K. Parent of Grade 11 Student
★★★★★

"As a McMaster Engineering student himself, he brought a level of depth we couldn't find elsewhere. But it was his patience that impressed us most. He taught our son how to be confident again in school."

David R. Mississauga Border Parent
★★★★★

"My son was a strong student, but Calculus tests were costing him marks. The mentorship fixed his approach to unfamiliar questions and helped him secure his Engineering admission."

Sarah M. Parent of Grade 12 Student
The real problem

Why smart students still struggle in Functions and Calculus.

Many students do not fail because they are lazy. They struggle because school teaches the topic, but tests demand transfer.

Common mark-killers I help fix:

  • Not knowing how to start unfamiliar questions
  • Making small algebra mistakes that destroy full solutions
  • Memorizing steps without understanding when to use them
  • Panicking on tests despite studying hard
  • Leaving marks on the table because solutions are not written clearly
  • Studying by rereading notes instead of practicing like the test

The advantage of learning from someone who recently did it.

Ambitious students need more than explanations. They need a mentor who understands the Ontario high school math ciriculum, the stress of competitive applications, and the habits required to survive engineering-level problem solving.

Relatable mentorship

Students listen differently when guidance comes from someone close enough to remember the pressure, but far enough ahead to show the path.

Engineering-minded math

The goal is not just finishing homework. It is building the problem-solving style needed for STEM courses and admissions confidence.

Strategy, not guesswork

We identify mistake patterns, rebuild weak concepts, and train the student to approach new questions with a repeatable process.

How the mentorship works.

A premium, simple process designed to turn confusion into a clear plan.

Free Strategy Call

We talk through the student’s course, current mark, goals, weak units, test anxiety, and university path.

Gap-to-Grade Map

We identify the patterns costing marks and create a focused plan for Advanced Functions, Calculus, or both.

Weekly Coaching

Each session targets understanding, application, test technique, and confidence so progress becomes visible.

Frequently Asked Questions

What courses do you help with?

Primarily Grade 11 Advanced Functions, Grade 12 Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, and math support for students preparing for Engineering, however we are open to helping out with other STEM classes for other competitive university programs.

Can you help with engineering admissions?

Yes — the main focus is math performance, but the mentorship also supports study habits, course strategy, admissions mindset, and understanding what competitive engineering pathways demand.

Online or in person?

Both are available. Brampton students may request in-person support, while online sessions utilize collaborative digital tools to ensure the student is actively solving problems, not just watching.

Why choose you over a tutoring center?

Centers often provide worksheet supervision. I provide targeted coaching and mentorship from an Engineering student who has navigated the exact same curriculum and application process successfully.
